Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the most important components of the X-ray devices, design and function of the X-ray tube, primary screens, secondary grids, Bucky screen, image intensifier, basic characteristics of computer systems and digital radiography, linear tomography and other components of X-ray instrumental and digital systems for skiagraphy, skiascopy, mammography, stomatology, and computer tomography. The subject also includes the basic structural and functional characteristics of the instrumental equipment for magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasonography.
Students have knowledge of the structure, principles of activities, and use of radiological equipment in health care.
