The aim of the course is to gain practical experience from real practice, which is important for professional development of students.
The student masters nursing procedures and duties according to standards. The student seeks out and meets the needs of clients based on active and individualized nursing care implemented using the nursing process, contributes to collaboration within the health care team, respects and complies with applicable laws and standards.

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation

Based on written recommendation, students organize their professional holiday externship individually according to feasibility and conditions in the health care facilities. Professional individual externship will take place according to the student's personal choice and according to the class teacher's approval, where the following facilities will be offered: e.g., Chrudim Hospital, Inc., University Hospital in Hradec Kralove, Radiology Centre run by the Multiscan society, Pardubice Regional Hospital, Inc.
