Course content
|
Research forms and distribution, organizational forms in science communication. Review of scientific publication. Basic concepts of mathematical statistics. Fundamentals point estimation, hypothesis testing. Fundamentals of probability. Exploratory analysis, histogram analysis of variance, linear regression, correlation analysis. Preparation of research, creation of questionnaires. The tables and calculations of the relative cumulative frequency graphs. Calculations of confidence intervals, work with the Gaussian curve and statistical tables. Typography for my bachelor thesis. Preparation of presentation of the thesis.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim is to acquaint students with basic concepts of scientific research, data processing, and basic methods used in statistical surveys in humanistic and natural sciences.
Student gets an idea about the basics of research and scientific work, learn the basic concepts of statistical data processing and will be able to create and manipulate basic research and the obtained data. Students will learn how to correctly interpret the findings from the survey. All of the acquired knowledge, including typography student will use virtually the processing of my thesis.
