Principles of management and its structure Organizational behaviour and organizational structure Marketing of health care services Management of quality in health care Personnel management in health care Enterprise and its aims, types of enterprise, basic terminology in economics Business organizations Property and sources of its financing Expenditures, profits, and economic outcome Health care systems and their financing Investments and banking

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to gain knowledge from management and economics: to become familiar with the principles and structure of management from the viewpoint of managerial roles and from the viewpoint of management levels and structures while taking into account health care specifications.
The student knows the issue of organization of health care institutions, marketing of health care services, personnel management, managerial hospital information systems, and management of quality in health care. The student will be able to conduct a basic financial analysis and evaluation of health care systems. The student will become familiar with enterprise economics, which monitors mutual economic relationships and contexts in a given organization and its surroundings, and provides practical instructions for realistic activities. The student will be able to take advantage of this knowledge and to explain and defend its use.

Didactic test

Compliance with mandatory 50% attendance at lectures and the mandatory 80% attendance at seminars, workshops. Meeting the written test.
