The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the principles of ultrasound image generation, usage of the B and M mode, colour Doppler analysis, and harmonic imaging. Furthermore, the subject introduces students to the design of ultrasound equipment and differences in their tooling.
Students will master the subject matter in the extent outlined by the syllabus. Students will be capable to apply acquired knowledge and skills in clinical practice, predominantly in cooperation with a medical specialist to provide technical support of the examination and prospectively also to operate the apparatus in demanding examinations.
