Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject of health care statistics is to acquaint students with overview of methods of computer-based interactive statistical data processing in medicine and in natural sciences. Apart from the methodology of interactive dialogue analysis of data, students will also familiarize themselves with practical use in tens of examples from the fields of biochemistry, medicine, and pharmacology. A crucial part of the subject is also independent solution of tasks in the field of health care practice in a student's final semester work using statistical software ADSTAT and STATISTICA.
Students gain knowledge and practical skills in the most common software in the field of computer analysis of health care and other natural science data in the Czech Republic.
