Course content
Introduction to the subject, theory and the concept of the state and its historical development. Theory of law: the sources of law, rule of law, legal relationships, legal liability. Constitutional law: the structure of state power in the Czech Republic, the constitutional rights of citizens of the Czech Republic, the judiciary in the Czech Republic. Civil right material: general provisions, liability, substantive rights, the right commitment, the right to inheritance. Commercial law: a company, obligations under a trade law. Labor law: industrial relations, employment, creation, modification, termination, liability under the ZP. Civil proceedings: the parties, legal proceedings, judicial decisions and appeals, enforcement (execution). Administrative law: administrative territorial structures, the Higher Education Act, the Personal Data Protection Act. Estate and the law: a criminal offense, a misdemeanor, penalties, the basic principles of criminal proceedings, management of adhesive. Copyright law: the law of copyright, use of the work, licenses, employment and school work.

Learning outcomes
The main aim of this course is putting the basic institutions of legal theories and teach students the basic division of rights and the rule of law. Emphasis is placed on the subject of a deepening legal awareness in students in the field of public law and deepen the actual knowledge of the law in force in the field of private law, focusing on civil law, commercial law and the right to work.
