Introduction to computer networks (communication protocols, network architectures, network topology, type of network). Hypertext Transfer Protocol (communication schema, type of messages, methods, http versions, status codes, persistent connections, HTTP session state, Secure HTTP). Web server APACHE (basic architecture, installation, configuration, administration, PHP support, security). Secure Sockets Layer (TLS record protocol, ChangeCipherSpec protocol, Alert protocol, Handshake protocol). Web server IIS (basic architecture, installation, configuration, administration). Learning outcomes
|
The main aim of this subject is inform students about computer networks, internet and web server administration. Subjects include introduction to up- to- date web server technologies. The emphasis is put on installation, configuration and administration of web server APACHE and IIS.
Advance knowledge of web server administration.
