Course content
EVenous thrombosis and embolism. Carditis and cardiomyopathy. Valve defects. Examination methods in pneumology. Pneumonia. Nursing process in patients with venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Nursing process in patients with cardiomyopathy and valve defects. Nursing process in examination methods in pneumology. Nursing process in patients with non-specific airway inflammation. Nursing process in patients with bronchial asthma.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire basic knowledge in the field of cardiology and pneumology.
Students get acquainted with the basics of symptomatology, diagnosis, treatment and nursing issues of patients with diseases of the heart, blood vessels and respiratory system.

Written examination

Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the practicum sessions. Successful completion of a written test or oral exam.
