Course content
|
Professional Practice II follows the theoretical knowledge from the 1st year and the subjects taught in the 2 WT and 2 ST - Leadership and managerial communication in healthcare, Personal management in healthcare, Quality and safety of health care in healthcare and Marketing in healthcare. The professional practice takes place under the supervision of a supervisor (e.g., ward nurse, head nurse, deputy director) in a defined organisational unit according to their competence.

The aim of the course is to improve theoretical knowledge and practical skills when working in clinical practice, gaining experience focused on organization and management in healthcare.
Students acquire comprehensive management skills and knowledge that will be used in all areas of healthcare and public administration. During their study, they learn about the management of healthcare facilities, including setting and maintaining organisational structure, financing, and setting up and managing management systems. Graduates of the programme will be able to understand management as part of the provision of health care and to use the knowledge and skills acquired in the context of continuous improvement of its quality and efficiency.

100 % compulsory attendance in professional practice Fulfilling of assigned performances Passing oral practical exam The study program is a specialized study of non-medical health workers, and therefore it is necessary to provide a confirmation of completion of the mandatory scope of the profession according to the applicable legislation.
