Course content
Introduction to pedagogy and didactics, terminology (pedagogy, didactics, andragogy, education) Motivation and goals in the education Teaching strategies and methods Motivation and goals in the education Teaching strategies and methods Didactics of professional processes (familiarization with specialist classrooms, models, training of students in simulated situations) Didactics of professional processes and professional practices (teaching students under the guidance of an academic staff member) Reflection of teaching and practice supervision - team meeting

The aim of the course is to prepare students for the activities of a clinical practice mentor in the field of qualification training of students of non-medical healthcare disciplines, students of specialisation training of non-medical healthcare professionals and in the adaptation process of newly recruited employees. It is mainly about creating optimal conditions for quality and effective management of professional practice; organisation and management of the teaching process in connection with the professional practice; coordination and regulation of practical activities and performance of trainees; continuous evaluation of achieved knowledge and skills; conducting output evaluation of the educational process and processing the final evaluation of participants in the educational process.
Students are oriented and perform the activities of a clinical practice mentor, organization and management of professional practice and their essentials.context of continuous improvement of its quality and efficiency.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment

Fulfilment of the specified compulsory attendance at lectures and practical seminars. Completion of tasks assigned in the seminars. Passing a written test or oral examination as decided by the course guarantor.
