Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to unify students' knowledge of secondary school physics and to complete biophysical knowledge, which enables students to understand the nature of physiological processes in a human body. To explain the mechanisms of physical factors effecting living organisms and the possibilities of their use in health care. To provide basic information about the physical nature of radiological imaging methods and their potential risks to humans.
Students understand the nature of biophysical processes in a human body and physical methods used in health care. They have a basic idea of the principles on which modern imaging methods are based and understand the risks to the organism associated with their use. They know the basic principles of protection against ionizing radiation.
