Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to improve theoretical knowledge and gain practical skills in the field of clinical practice; to provide future paramedics with knowledge essential for organizational and methodological management of nursing care.
Students are able to use analysis, evaluation and synthesis when solving critical situations in nursing patients whose vital functions are failing or at a risk of failure. Students participate on improving quality of nursing care, manage basic techniques of physical examination of a patient, independently prepare and implement education of clients, are able to plan nursing process in patients whose vital functions are failing regarding their cultural differences. Students participate on cooperation within the healthcare team, cooperate with patients' families, and comply with laws, regulations and standards.

It is compulsory to complete 100% attendance in the internship. It is compulsory to complete the determined procedures and nursing processes. Processing of the specified written work. Completion of theoretical- practical examination.
