Basic concepts and basic economic and administrative data. Act No. 268/2014 Coll., "On Medical Devices" and the role of the SÚKL in the field of instrumentation, logistics of hospital operations. Basic instrumentation of the outpatient part (phonendoscopes, thermometers, pulse oximeters, glucometers, tonometers, examination chairs and tables, etc.). Other diagnostic equipment (ECG, EEG, EMG, spirometers, flowmeters, endoscopic equipment, ENT equipment, non-radiological ultrasonic devices including prenatal diagnostics, etc.). Instrumentation of the inpatient part (positioning beds, mattresses, tubes and ramps, rehabilitation equipment, central medi gas distribution). Instrumentation of the inpatient part (monitoring system, haemodialysis and haemofiltration). Instrumentation of the inpatient part (infusion and extraction equipment, defibrillators, ventilation devices). Instrumentation of operating rooms (operating tables and luminaires, anaesthesiological instruments, surgical drills and saws). Instrumentation of operating rooms ((high frequency electrosurgery, coagulation, ultrasonic surgical instruments, cryocryption, surgical lasers). Instrumentation of operating theatres (neuronavigation, operating robot, central operating theatres). Instrumentation of central sterilization (washing and sterilization technology). The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic health care laws, with the instrumentation technique used in the outpatient and inpatient part, in operating rooms and the central sterilization.
Students will acquire a basic overview of instruments and equipment in the hospital and outpatient practice, with a special emphasis on those instruments that they will be likely to use according to their job description. |
