Course content
|
Disaster medicine, crisis management. Extrication, positioning, and transport of injured persons. Basics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, AED according to 2025 guidelines. Wounds, bleeding, and shock, stopping bleeding, treating shock, anaphylaxis after contrast agent administration. Injuries to bones, joints, spine, and head, treatment within PP. Heat and cold damage, treatment within PP. Chemical burns and poisoning, treatment within PP and specifics for radiology workplaces. Electrical shock and discharge injuries, treatment within PP and specifics for radiology workplaces. Acute conditions in chronically ill patients.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of first aid provision (PP).

Prerequisites
|
The student acquires manual dexterity for performing safe and high-quality first aid and is familiar with new trends in disaster medicine and acute care.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance assessment
Compliance with mandatory participation in exercises. Completing a practical assignment - model situation.
