Course content
Patient's monitoration in pre-hospital, intensive and resuscitation care Provision of airways in pre-hospital care (available aids, intubation assistance, oxygen application) Provision of respiratory tract in intensive and resuscitation care (respiratory care, tracheostomia) Provision of invasive inputs in pre-hospital, intensive and resuscitation care (intraosial input, central venous catheter, hemodialyssion catheter, artery cannulation) Elimination methods, target temperature management Artificial pulmonary ventilation (ventilation regimens, NILV) Paliative care in CR, paliative care in intensive care Ensuring airways in intensive and resuscitative care Ensuring invasive inputs in pre-hospital, intensive and resuscitative care Elimination methods Documentation in PNP, IP and RES care Artificial pulmonary ventilation Monitoring in PNP, IP, RES care Chest puncture, chest drainage

Learning outcomes
The objective of the subject is to broaden knowledge and to improve skills acquired in the subject of Nursing procedures with a focus on special nursing procedures in pre-hospital care and intensive care, to get acquainted with relevant equipment and their instructions.
Student will have both a theoretical knowledge and practical skills of performing special nursing procedures correctly in compliance with nursing standards and respecting individual needs of the patient. Students will be familiar with equipment and materials essential for performing the particular nursing procedures and will know how to use them.
