Course content
|
Introduction to forensic medicine. Postmortem changes. Examination of the place of discovery of a dead body. Collaboration with other EMS components, especially the police. The most common causes of death in the community. Violent death. Traffic accidents. Forensic toxicology. Violence against living individuals.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the basics of forensic medicine, focusing on the paramedic profession.
Students know the most common causes of sudden and violent death in the community. They are well versed in the issue of violent acts against living individuals, and the issue of alcoholism and traffic accidents. They know the responsibilities of the paramedic and the procedure algorithm concerning judicial issues.

Didactic test
Completion of compulsory 75% attendance at the lectures. Successful completion of a written test.
