Course content
Examination methods in cardiology. Fundamental symptomatology in cardiology. Heart failure. Ectopic arrhythmias. Arrhythmias due to conduction disorders. Syncope. Acute coronary syndromes. Chronic ischemic heart disease. Arterial hypertension.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire basic knowledge in the field of cardiology and pneumology.
Students will be able to evaluate the current clinical status of patients with diseases of the circulatory and respiratory systems. Students will be familiar with the standard diagnostic procedures and investigative methods.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Didactic test

Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the practicum sessions. Successful completion of a written test or oral exam.
