Course content
Research, its forms and divisions, organisational forms in scientific communication. Reviews by a peer-reviewed publication. Basic notions of mathematical statistics. Basics of probability. Basics of hypothesis testing. Survey analysis, histogram, linear regression, correlation. Research preparation, questionnaire production. Tables, frequencies, graphs. Confidence interval, assessment of normal distribution, statistical tables. Basic typography for bachelor thesis. Preparing presentation of bachelor thesis.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge from the basics of scientific research and the basics of processing, evaluation and interpretation of statistical data to the extent necessary for the processing of the Bachelor thesis.
The study is to gain an idea of the basic principles of research and scientific work, adopt terminology and basic procedures in data collection and processing, thus being able to perform and evaluate the basic survey independently. Sudent learns to correctly interpret the lessons learned from the survey. This knowledge, together with the basics of typography, will be used by the student practically in his bachelor thesis.

Compliance with the mandatory 85% participation in exercise. Compliance with the credit test. Performing an oral or written test.
