Course content
Anatomy and physiology of the auditory analyzer, basic hearing disorders and their treatment options. Symptomatology, diagnosis and treatment of inflammations of the ear, nose, paranasal sinuses, pharynx and their complications. Symptomatology, diagnostics and basics of therapy of malignant tumor in the ENT. Dyspnea and causes of dyspnea from the occlusion of the upper respiratory tract. Ill after tracheotomy and laryngectomy. Traumatology in ENT. Epistaxis. Introduction, notes from the anatomy and physiology of the visual analyzer, basic disorders. External and intraocular inflammation. Cataract and glaucoma, eye injuries. Eye surgery. Introduction, anatomy, topography of the tooth. The basics of restorative dentistry. Dental surgery. The basics of prosthetic dentistry. Prevention of dental caries. Anatomy and physiology of the skin. The distribution of skin diseases. Skin diseases of the external causes. Skin care. Photobiology. Dermatomycosis, allergic diseases. Venereal diseases. Demonstration of basic examination in Otorhinolaryngology Investigations hearing, demonstration of hearing aids. Food intake esophageal probe. The basic ophthalmological examination and treatment. Special care for oral cavity. Prevention of dental caries. Chronic wounds care.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic investigative methods and health care in the clinical fields of otolaryngology, ophthalmology, dentistry and dermatology and venereology.
Student is versed in the issue of the individual fields in the range of the syllabus.
