Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the implementation of a continuous quality improvement programme and effective preparation of a healthcare facility for accreditation.
Students acquire the knowledge necessary to effectively plan, collect and evaluate data to identify priority areas and develop quality standards. Students also learn the principles and rules for conducting audits, implementing a continuous quality improvement system in an organization/department. Students also learn the principles and techniques for developing individual and team competencies for effective use of TQM systems and tools, for implementing national accreditation standards in their own workplace, and for coordinating the preparation of the facility/department for external audits.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination
Specified compulsory attendance at lectures and seminars. Fulfilment of tasks assigned at the seminars. Successful completion of the exam (combination of written test and oral exam).
