Introduction to the subject, human resources management Professional management of job interviews in the healthcare sector Job descriptions, competency models in healthcare Adaptation programme for a new worker in healthcare Working conditions in the healthcare sector Managing and evaluating the work performance of employees in a healthcare facility Staff training and development, staff appraisal in healthcare Labour relations and collective negotiations in a healthcare organisation Preparation and description of a working position in healthcare Managing job interviews in healthcare practice New employee joining a company/healthcare organization, motivating new employees Adaptation programme, training and development of employees in the healthcare sector Listening to employees Employee evaluation - how to properly evaluate and motivate employees in healthcare

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to gain knowledge in the field of personnel management in a healthcare organization necessary for specific leadership and management of people, from the initial job interviews, the establishment of employment relationships, the creation of a personnel plan, training concepts and career development of employees, to the end of the employment relationship.
Students learn the basic principles and rules from each area of personnel management for managing teams and individuals, for effectively managing and leading people, including job performance analysis and evaluation of employees with a focus on the healthcare field.

Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation

Specified compulsory attendance at lectures and seminars Submission of a term paper for credit. Oral examination and a debate on the topic of the term paper.
