Learning activities and teaching methods |
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming) |
Learning outcomes |
The aim of the subject is to inform students about properties and service behaviour of the selected groups of the materials, which are applied mainly for vehicular transport means. To give global information about their treatment and using, each degradation mechanisms as a direct consequence of the processing technology and operation loading regime.
After course have students skills for correct choice of the processing technology, are able to solve operation problems in connection with components and construction failure. Students are able to design suitable materials, to dimension the machine parts and to interpret the applications dangers due to loading conditions. |
Prerequisites |
Required is the fundamental knowledge internal building and behaviour of the materials in according to the content of the subject ?Materials science?.
