Course content
Influence line load solutions. Determining the effects of of extreme loads. Winkler, load and Šolínová criterion. Computational models of beam structures for deformation method for strain analysis of uncertainty The potential energy of the external and internal forces. Potential energy of the system. Basic equations of elasticity theory. Principal stress and strain, basic relations for the stress and strain rods (simple and combined stress cases). The principle of the finite element method.

Learning outcomes
Students fill deepen their knowledge in the field of structural mechanics. This course builds on Structural Mechanics I and II.
Students get knowledge in selecte part mechanics specialized on structural construction.
Prerequisites
Completion of the course Structural Mechanics II.

Oral examination, Written examination
