Learning outcomes
|
The aim is to inform students about the advanced materials used in engineering practice, with the specific processes in the structure-mechanical properties relation. Information on modern methods of material characterization will also be given.
Students will acquire knowledge of advanced material types, tailored to their specialization, emphasising on materials for transport means.

Oral examination
Basic knowledge of internal structure and evaluation of mechanical response of materials.
