Course content
Particle size measurements. EPR. X-ray diffraction analysis . Thermal analysis (TG and DTA). Optical microscopy. EDAX. NMR. Infrared and Raman spectroscopy. Density measurements. Thermomechanical analysis.

Learning outcomes
Students will train modern methods of sample preparations and their characterizationunder the guiding of experienced teachers. They will join also research activities in materials laboratories.
Studenti is able to work independently in materials laboratories and will manage basic techniques of materials preparation and characterization.

Written examination

Realization of experiments. Writing reports on the experiments. Written and oral exam.
