Course content
Introduction.Starting materials.Ceramic fabrication (Synthesis of powders,Foprming of ceramics, Drying,Sintering). Properties and application of ceramics materials.Electroceramics. Bioceramics.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
To ensure the students obtain the complex view of the technology, properties of classic and industrial ceramics and the usage of certain ceramic materials.
The student is able to orient in the properties of ceramical materials. He can make decision regarding the choice of the ceramical materials for different industrial applications.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

The examination is oral. The student has to answer the combination of four questions during oral examination (resorses for ceramics, technology, propertie and application of materials).
