Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Demonstration
Learning outcomes
The subject "Chemistry of Organometallic Compounds II" deals with organometallic complexes of transition metals. The versatility of organometallic compounds, their preparation, properties and the use in various branches of chemistry is discussed. Particular attention is focused on organometallics that are commonly used in industrial catalysis.
Student will be able to choose right methods for the synthesis of various organotransition metal complexes after graduation.
Prerequisites
Subject is closely connected with subject C057 (Chemistry of Organometallic Compounds I)

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

1-2 written exams during the semester, obtained results are included to classification rating (30%). Final written exam is followed with oral examination.
