Course content |
Study of structure and properties chalcogenide glasses, chalcohalogenide glasses, halogenide glasses and amorphous layers. Study of structure and properties oxide glasses (phosphate, borate, borophosphate, tellurate glasses etc. Study of structure and properties of semiconductive crystals.

Learning outcomes |
Laboratory classes focused on preparation and characterization of various inorganic materials: Amorphous materials (glasses - bulk samples, thin layers), polycrystalline and monocrystalline materials. Selected theme is usually the same as in diploma thesis.
The student should be able to prapare various inorganic materials, study their structure, physical and mechanical properties and discuss the obtained results. |
