Course content
Training of English by hearing lectures, reading English texts and translating technical materials from English to Czech and vice versa.

Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is training the students of Materials Engineering in English technical terms which they meet in books and journals devoted to materials. Moreover, they are prepared for the written and oral presentation of their scientific work and results and in discussion on special topics.
Students broaden their vocabulary in the region of materials engineering, improve their pronunciation and have a possibility of training Czech-English and English-Czech translations.
