Course content
Chemical reactions (thermodynamics,kinetics, equilibrium) Electrochemistry.Oxidation-reduction reactions. Chemistry of elements (nonmetallic elements, Hydrogen, Halogens,Oxygen,Sulphur,Nitrogen and Phosphorus, Carbon and Silicon) Chemistry of metals (Alkali Metals, Aluminium) Transition Elements (chromium,manganese,iron,cobalt,nickel, copper)

Learning outcomes
The students learn within the first part of the subject basics of thermodynamics, kinetics and equilibrium of chemical reactions. Further they study inorganic chemistry - chemistry of elements.
The graduate is able to be well versed in general chemistry and chemistry of elements.

Oral examination

Periodical control - two written tests. The final examination consists of two parts - oral and written test.
