Week 1: Introduction to nanomaterials - overview and division. Week 2: Basics of synthesis of inorganic nanoparticles. Week 3: Metal and oxide nanoparticles. Week 4: Semiconductor nanoparticles. Week 5: Carbon nanoparticles. Week 6: Natural nanomaterials and nanostructures. Week 7: Toxicity of nanomaterials. Week 8: Analysis of nanomaterials and nanostructures - microscopic techniques. Week 9: Analysis of nanomaterials and nanostructures - analysis of composition, structure and mechanical properties. Week 10: Thin films - methods of deposition and characterization. Week 11: Structuring of thin films - lithographic techniques. Week 12: Applications of nanomaterials and nanostructures. Week 13: Composite materials using nanoparticles.
