The subject deals with the characterization of organometallic compounds by NMR spectroscopy. The subject is focused on the possibility and conditions of NMR measurements of active isotopes like 119Sn, 31P, 19F, 15N, that differ from traditional isotopes 1H and 13C. The emphasis is put on the change of traditional 1H and 13C NMR spectra due to the presence of these other NMR active nuclei in the model compounds. The influence of the structure of organometallic compounds on chemical shifts of these NMR active isotopes is also discussed. Further, the conditions of 2D NMR spectra (simple sequence) involving these isotopes are discussed. Subsequently, measured 2D NMR spectra including these isotopes are also interpreted.
