Course content
|
The doctoral course expands and deepens knowledge in the field of thermal analysis and calorimetry. Emphasis is paid on both the theoretical basis of individual thermomechanical methods and practical examples and procedures. It is also focused on the specificity of individual methods. It is dealing with the combination of thermoanalytical methods and some of the other analytical methods. Methods of thermal analysis, such as differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetry, dynamic thermomechanical analysis, viscosity measurements, etc., are combined with other analytical methods, such as mechanical and optical properties measurements, Raman and infrared microscopy, and atomic force microscopy, SEM and EDX.
