Course content
Anatomical terminology. Anatomy of bones and joints of the upper limb. Muscles of the chest, the abdomen, the pelvic floor, the head, and the neck. Anatomy of bones and joints of the lower limb. Anatomy of the skull. Anatomy of the vertebral column and the thorax. Muscles of the upper and the lower limb. Anatomy of the stomach, the small intestine, and the large intestine. Anatomy of the oral cavity, the pharynx, and the oesophagus. Anatomy of the liver, the gallbladder, the pancreas, and the peritoneum. Anatomy of the larynx, the trachea, and the bronchi. Anatomy of the lungs, the pleura, and the mediastinum. Anatomy of the endocrine glands. Anatomy of the urinary system. Anatomy of the male sexual organs. Anatomy of the female sexual organs. Anatomy of the spinal cord and the nerve pathways. Anatomy of the autonomic nervous system, the eye, and the ear. Anatomy of the CNS. Anatomy of the heart and the blood vessels. Pectoral cavity. Abdominal cavity.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with macroscopic as well as microscopic structure of the human body and to teach them to use specialized medical language.
The student correctly presents on organ structure and location, uses and understands specialized terminology, and practically applies gained knowledge. Based on knowledge of anatomy, the student understands relationships concerning illness prevention and treatment.
