Anatomical nomenclature and orientation on the body. Locomotor system. Tissues, bones, muscles, joints. Anatomy of the head and neck. Anatomy of the spine and thorax. Anatomy of the upper and lower limbs. Muscles of the chest, abdomen and pelvic floor. Anatomy of the larynx, trachea and bronchi. Anatomy of the lungs, pleura and mediastinum. Anatomy of the oral cavity, pharynx and oesophagus. Anatomy of the stomach, small intestine and large intestine. Anatomy of the liver, gall bladder, pancreas and peritoneum. Anatomy of the heart and blood vessels. Anatomy of the urinary tract.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students both with macroscopic and microscopic anatomy and to teach them how to use professional medical language.
Students are able to correctly present structure and location of organs, to use medical terms and understands them, and to put acquired knowledge in practice. Based on the acquired knowledge, students are able to understand the context of prevention and treatment of diseases.

Didactic test
Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the lectures. Successful completion of a written test.
