Course content
|
Anatomy of the male sexual organs. Anatomy of the female sexual organs. Anatomy of the spinal cord and the nerve pathways. Anatomy of the autonomic nervous system, the eye, and the ear. Anatomy of the CNS. Anatomy of the heart and the blood vessels. Anatomy of the endocrine glands.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with macroscopic as well as microscopic structure of the human body and to teach them to use specialized medical language.
The student correctly presents on organ structure and location, uses and understands specialized terminology, and practically applies gained knowledge. Based on knowledge of anatomy, the student understands relationships concerning illness prevention and treatment.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Didactic test
Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the lecutres and practicum sessions. Successful completion of an oral examination. Written test.
