Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the physiological functions of tissues and organs and mechanisms that are applied in the management and maintenance of homeostasis. Introduces pathophysiological processes that have importance in the development of a number of diseases. Clinical nutrition focuses on the metabolic changes during starvation, the proportion of nutrition on the onset of lifestyle diseases, dietary recommendations and special procedures in the application of artificial nutrition.
Students acquire theoretical knowledge of the function and regulation of individual systems, including the necessary terminology. Will be able to infer basic clinical manifestations resulting from their failures and causes functional changes in the organism.
