Course content

Basic instrumentation procedures for interventional radiological procedures. Infusion: preparation, assistance and security of the patient. Medicines and their administration. Administration of medicines per os. Administration of drugs by injections: subcutaneous, intramuscular and intravenous. Basic sampling of biological material. Emptying of the sick: lysema, catheterization of the female, catheterization of the male. Oxygen application. Caring for the deceased. Learning outcomes
|
The subject gives basic information about the field of nursing. Attention is paid to both theoretical and practical training of nursing practices, which are important for ensuring patient care in radiological workplaces.
The aim is to prepare the student for a three-week nursing experience in standard departments of the internal and surgical type hospital.

|
Oral examination, Written examination
Fulfillment of the mandatory 80% participation in lectures and exercises. Completion of a written test and testing of practical skills.
