Course content
|
Becoming familiar with the system of primary, secondary, and tertiary care. Becoming familiar with valid regulations and norms in a given institution. Applying nursing procedures and principles to the care of healthy, ill, handicapped, and the dying clients. Meeting the needs of clients based on an active and individualized nursing care implemented by using the nursing process method.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to gain experience from a realistic practice, which will enable the student to perceive differences in meeting the needs of healthy, ill, handicapped, and the dying clients/patients in individual developmental stages.
Students will deepen their practical and theoretical knowledge needed to provide comprehensive nursing care, participate in the cooperation within the healthcare team, and respect and follow valid laws and regulations.
