Course content
Personality traits - acquired. Knowing the personality. Fundamentals of social psychology - socialization and social learning. Social groups and the influence of the social group on the individual. Social perception and perceptual stereotypes. Social attitudes. Pro-social behaviour. The group and attitudes in the group. Personality. Types of stressful situations and their management. Burnout syndrome.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to provide students with basic information on general, developmental, and social psychology and to acquaint them with the essence of personality while emphasizing the personality of the patient.
Students are able to explain the status of psychology as a science in the system of social sciences, are able to analyse mental activities, processes and states, and their disorders. Through knowledge of theirr personality, students understand other people better. They understand the diversity of the human psyche in different developmental stages. They can use basic techniques of coping with stressful situations.

Assessment methods and criteria

Completion of compulsory 50% attendance at the lectures. Completion of compulsory 80% active attendance at the practicum sessions. Successful completion of written or oral testing according to the decision of the guarantor of the subject. The fulfillment seminar work on the exercise.
