Course content
Forms of communication (monologue, dialogue): practice. What do body language and the language of sounds, objects, and actions tell us. Forms of speech (presentation, education): practice. Active listening and perception: practice.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Skills training, Stimulating activities (simulation, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The aim is to provide students with basic information on the nature of interpersonal communication, focusing on its use when dealing with clients in health services. Upon completion of the subject, students should have acquired not only the required content of theoretical knowledge, but also communication skills that will enable them to behave professionally in various situations while working with clients and their loved ones.
The student practically applies knowledge and experience gained in lectures and the practicum. The student manages to communicate with people in various age groups as well as to communicate with problem types of individuals. The student is able to solve conflicts and problems with an assistance of assertive techniques.

Completion of compulsory 85% attendance at the practicum sessions and seminars. ompletion of compulsory 60% attendance at the lectures.
