Philosophy of primary nursing care. Philosophy of health in primary health care. Nursing in primary health care. The family from the perspective of health and illness. Elements of education in nursing care. Interdisciplinary collaboration in primary health care, nursing care standards in primary health care. Nursing models and the nursing process in primary health care. Introduction, when hospitalization and when home care. Primary care, components of home care. The nursing process in home care. The most frequent diagnoses in home care. Wound management. Care of the dying in home care.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with basic aspects of nursing in the area of primary health care and in home care from the perspective of the general nurse.
The student knows basic terminology and hierarchy in primary care and home care in the Czech Republic. He/she is able to explain and use basic elements of the educational process towards supporting health and in primary health care. The student knows basic principles of community care and options for collaboration with the social sphere.
