Course content
Stress (theory of stress, stressors, health impact of stress). Mental hygiene. Ontogenesis. Concept and essence of mental life. Participation of transmission, environment and upbringing to psyche development. Evolutionary theories. Prenatal period, neonatal period. Toddler period. Pre-school and infant school period. Pre-puberty and puberty period. Medical and social worker and team. How to manage manipulation and mobbing. Values, the meaning of life. Working with own emotions.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to pass the students the basic information from the field of general, evolutionary and social psychology, to inform them about the essence of a personality with an accent to the personality of a patient.
The student is able to explain the position of psychology as a science in the system of social sciences, he/she can analyse psychical activities, processes and states and their disorders. Through the recognition of his/her personality the student is able to understand more other people. He/she can recognize the differences of human psyche in every single period of life. He//she can use the basic techniques to manage stress situations.

Assessment methods and criteria

The fulfilment of compulsory 50% presence at lectures. The fulfilment of compulsory 80% active presence at seminars. Written test or oral exam fulfilment according to course guarantor decision. Fulfillment of the seminar work.
