Course content
|
Becoming familiar with the system of primary, secondary, and tertiary care. Becoming familiar with valid regulations and norms in a given institution. Applying nursing procedures and principles to the care of healthy, ill, handicapped, and the dying clients. Meeting the needs of clients based on an active and individualized nursing care implemented by using the nursing process method.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to gain experience from a realistic practice, which will enable the student to perceive differences in meeting the needs of healthy, ill, handicapped, and the dying clients/patients in individual developmental stages.
The student will deepen his/her practical and theoretical knowledge and skills necessary for the delivery of a complex nursing care, participates in interdisciplinary team collaboration, and respects and abides by valid laws and regulations.

It is compulsory to complete 100% attendance in the internship. It is compulsory to complete the determined procedures and nursing processes. Completing assigned written work.
