Course content
|
Introduction, the concept of community. History of community work. Community work as a method of social work. Macro theory of community work. Micro theory of social work, communitarianism. Models of community work. Community work in the conditions of Czech social work. Acquaintance with the syllabus of the exercise, the terms of the credit. The basics of acquiring knowledge about the community. Community project - a cooperation of different actors. The different roles the wearers of the project. Involving citizens in community projects. Motivating particular groups to participate in community events. Types of planning in the community. Community projects funding.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the essential theoretical basis and models of community work.
Student knows the basic concepts from the field of community work, he/ she can apply the methods of social work with a company on a practical level and create community projects.

The fulfilment of compulsory attendance at lectures and seminars. Written test or oral exam fulfilment according to course guarantor decision.
