The concept of mental health. Characteristics, objectives, forms, principles, methods and effective factors of psychotherapy - basics. Current trends in psychotherapy. The strengths of the character. Feedback. Self-confidence in a group - mental health, wellbeing, salutogenesis. Self-confidence in a group - care for own resources, strengths of the character. Self-confidence in a group - confidence, autonomy. Self-confidence in a group - conscience, identity. Self-confidence in a group - intimacy, creativity. Self-confidence in a group - integrity.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to extend the curriculum of psychology, ethics, and communication. It focuses mainly on the practice and use of selected psychotherapeutic techniques in the midwife's work.
Students know and are able to use, in their work, selected psychotherapeutic techniques.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination
50% compulsory attendance in seminars. Self-reflection in seminars. Summary of self-experience and ability to put knowledge into practice. Passing a written test of oral exam according to the course guarantor.
