Course content
Introduction - basic terminology, types of education, meaning of education, assumptions of education, legal norms, theory of learning, basic questions about education, education based on evidence Educational process Assessing the educator The goal of education, taxonomy in education, plan of education, educational contracts Literacy, readability of educational materials, motivation Developmental stages, patients with special needs Barriers in education Preparation of tools and environment Breaking the ice Implementation of education Promoting efficiency Using questions, feedback Evaluation of education Technology in education, future trends Learning contracts Educational experience - discussion: assessment of learning needs, learning style, readiness to learn Lifelong health education Health literacy, understanding of teaching materials Educational goals, educational plan, educational contracts and preparation of conditions for education Teaching methods, teaching materials Evaluation. Educational records in practice

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Skills training, Stimulating activities (simulation, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to provide in-depth information about the education process and practical training of skills for effective education in the healthcare sector including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Students apply knowledge and experience gained during lectures and seminars into practice. Students can obtain an educational history, they are able to prepare and use educational programmes for healthy, ill, and handicapped people in all developmental stages, they are able to prepare education and educational programmes in the in the field of healthcare science. Students perform evaluation of the educational process, and they are able to view the education from the systemic point of view.

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment, Didactic test

Fulfillment of mandatory 50% participation in lectures. Fulfillment of mandatory active 80% participation in exercises. Processing of assigned written work. Successful completion of a didactic / written test.
