|
From a layman to a professional (development of the profession, terminology, men and women in the profession, attributes of the status) Education of nurses in the past (first nursing schools, conditions, content of the studies, organization of the professional practices). Recommended nursing procedures in history. Nurses during World War II. Discussion with contemporary witnesses.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide students with more information about the history of the branch of General Nurse and to strengthen, in an interesting way - through experiential seminars, interviews with contemporary witnesses, study of historical documents (literature, photographs, certificates, etc.) - the sense of professional belonging and pride.
Based on their work with historical sources, students will understand the context of the development of the profession, they will be able to analyse, compare and discuss the situation in the past and present.
