Course content
Introduction to the printing, printing machines and arrangements. Arrangements for preparation of letterpress printing forms. Letterpress printing machines. Arrangements for preparation of offset forms. Offset printing machines. Arrangement for preparation of gravure printing press forms. Gravure printing press machines. Arrangement for preparation of flexography forms. Flexography machines. Arrangement for preparation of screen printing forms. Screen machines. Arrangement for preparation of tampon printing forms. Tampon printing machines. Digital technology and digital printing machines.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Demonstration
Learning outcomes
Acquaintance with construction and functional part of machines for preparation of printing forms and printing machine. Explication of fundamental principles of technological progress for better understanding to machines and arrangements.
Student after graduation of this subject has knowledge about equipment for preparation of printing forms and about printing machines. Student knows separate parts machine. Student can determine which printing technology was used for preparation of sample. Gained knowledge will apply in connecting subjects Laboratory practicles in printing technology I, Technological seminar.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of Courses of Bacheor Study Program (Principles of Mech. Engineering, Introduction to Printing Technology).

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

Examination. Current checks ? 2 tests (20 %). Oral part of examination (80 %).
